One big news that’s been doing the round while COVID-19 is that Disney Plus Hotstar has finally gone live in India. With this new partnership, we see a lot of new titles added to the mix. What was originally Hotstar’s exclusive 4000 titles, has now become over 7000 titles with the duo coming together.

2. Chhappak
Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak, is based on the story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor, an activist and a TV host. Watch this film not only because it showcases one of Deepika’s best career performance so far but also because it very well highlights the issue of acid attack in the country. With an important story that needs to be heard, make sure not to miss this movie.

3. Chhichhore
‘Chhichhore’ has a relevant message on the inherent attitude towards academic success and failure that will connect with many youngsters and parents of today. It tells you that the journey is far more important than the destination and that losing is as critical a life lesson as winning. The film is certainly worth watching, with a spectacular performance by Sushant Singh Rajput.

4. Lion King
Who doesn’t feel the rush when you hear the name ‘The Lion King’? The original 1994 animated feature was a global smash hit, and the 1997 musical stands as the third longest-running show in Broadway history. This 2019 movie a Jon Favreau’s “live action” remake of the 1994 original, has a high-profile cast with breathtaking visuals. Technically speaking, it’s a marvel with voices by Donald Glover, Beyonce, James Earl Jones and Chiwetel Ejiofor. We cannot guarantee the fun you would have had watching the movie in 3D in a theatre but don’t miss it if you already have!

5. Panga
This Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Panga’ is a film that honours the endless hours of work that mothers put behind their families and at the same time urges them to never give up on their dreams. It is inspired by the real-life story of a national level Kabbadi player, Jaya Nigam who decides to make a comeback to the sport at the age of 32.
This ode to motherhood and chasing one’s dreams is a must watch.
