While Sachin bats right-handed, he autographs and eats with his left hand. To put this into context, only 1% of the world’s population is ambidextrous. Just another reason why he’s truly unique!

3. Foodie At Heart
Sachin’s favorite food is Mumbai’s famous ‘vada-pav’. As a little kid, he once asked his mother to look up the recipe of frog bhaji, yes you read that right – frog bhaji!

4. Friendly Neighbour
Sachin fielded as a substitute for Pakistan during a friendly match against India at the Brabourne Stadium in 1988. Talk about sportsmanship!

5. The Fall Of Fortune
One Sunday evening during his summer vacations, while the movie ‘Guide’ was playing on television, young Sachin fell from a tree. This angered his brother and mentor Ajit who packed him off to cricket coaching class as a punishment and as they say – the rest is history.
