Netflix has finally launched in India. The big question now is – To subscribe or not? Aimed at ‘cord cutters’, Netflix wants to attract those watching TV shows and movies online and not on televisions. Here are five things you need to know about Netflix India before you decide to subscribe-

2. How many devices can you use on it?
Basic plan (Rs. 500/month) subscribers can use their Netflix account on only one device at a time. For the Standard plan (Rs. 650 a month) subscribers, Netflix can be used on two devices simultaneously. Similarly, the Premium plan (Rs. 800/month) subscribers allows four people to use the same Netflix account simultaneously.

3. Netflix India has uncensored content- Confirmed!
But at the time of signing up you have to certify that you’re above 18 years of age.

4. Fewer TV shows
The content on Netflix India is limited. Netflix India currently only has around 630 titles whereas 4,830 titles in the US. Shows like House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Lost, Breaking Bad, True Detective, Supernatural and Modern Family are not on Netflix India yet. Make sure to tick off your checklist before you sign up!

5. Bandwidth in India might just be a problem
Netflix says that movies or TV shows will consume up to 1GB of data per hour on standard definition, and up to 3GB per hour on high definition. This requires you to keep a check on your consumption!
